I am Economist interested on topics on inequality and development.
As an experienced Economics educator, I work on making the discipline more inclusive as a subject and I am interested in research that improves students’ engagement with economics.
I have various national roles and recognitions. In 2020, I was nominated Diversity Champion for the Royal Economic Society, given my work on attracting more diversity to Economics. In 2022, I was ‘highly commended’ for my work on increasing awareness of issues with gender in economics by the Warwick Gender Taskforce. In 2021 I received a Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence for my work supporting students through the pandemic
I am Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Warwick, Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Senior Associate, Exec Board member of the Economics Network and Trustee of the Royal Economic Society.
